Yamaha YZF-R15 version 2.0 - Motor sport is believed to have power more than 20 PS. Official Specifications released Yamaha YZF-R15 version 2.0, which uses a similar engine with a Yamaha V-Ixion in Indonesia only has the power 17 PS at 8500 rpm engine speed. Maximum Power V-Ixion only 11.1 kW or about 15 PS at 8500 rpm. YZF-R15 version 2.0 has a torque of 15 Nm at 7500 rpm, while the V-Ixion only 13.1 Nm at the same engine speed. Output power difference is believed to be due to changes in some components such as a new ECU invested in YZF-R15 engine version 2.0.
Yamaha also made improvements in the area of YZF-R15 clutch manual version 2.0. Axle shaft clutch is made more rigid to support the overall clutch performance.
